2010년도의 월드컵 챔피언이였던 스페인은, 이번년도 월드컵에서 네덜란드에게  5-1로 완패는 수모를 당하고 또 칠레에게 2-0으로 지면서 아예 이미지 상실을한다.
“스페인의 전성기는 끝났다” 라고 트위터에서 봇물이친다…
이런식으로  ”전성기의 산”을 넘어서 지나가는 형상을 본따서  은유적으로 “한물갔다, 늙었다, 나이가 들었다, ”라는 표현하는 방법이 있으니…
