반대로 감정의 노예가 되어 오르락 내리락 거림에 민감하게 영향을 받는다면 인생은 매우 피곤할 것이다. 가끔 지나치게 들떠 어떤 것이 좋다고 또는 나쁘다고 하며 옆에 있는 사람을 붙잡고 시끄럽게 떠들어대는 때가 있다. 이렇게 몹시 흥분하여 ‘감정에 휩쓸려 버리다’를 아래와 같이 표현할 수 있다. “Man, calm daown. Don’t get carried away by your emotion..”
