바쁜 삶을 살다보면 정신없기 마련이다.
이럴 때 보통 한국 사람들은 마치 어지러운 방을 치우는 것처럼  생각을 “정리”해야한다라고 표현하는데,
비슷한 상황을 영어로는 어떻게 표현할까 ?
공중에 둥둥 떠있는 생각을 한군데로 “모으는”형상에서 ”collect thoughts”라고 표현한다.
collect one’s thoughts

    • I’ll speak to the visitors in a moment.  I need some time to collect my thoughts.
보통 “생각을 정리하다”라는”를 표현하고 싶을 때  ”organize one’s thoughts”을 떠올리는 데, “collect one’s thoughts”가 더 많이 쓰이는 표현이다.
