…^^ “Please execuse me while I go bang my head against the wall to write a DET post that is just about challenging, effective, and funny to EVERYBODY”

  1. To attempt, continuously and fruitlessly, to accomplish some task or achieve some goal that is or seems ultimately hopeless.

  1. bang one’s head against the wall대신에 bang one’s head against a brick wall이라고도 쓸 수 있습니다. 그렇기 때문에 “the” wall을 “사람들이 스트레스 받을 때마다 머리를 밖던 모두가 아는 ‘그’ 벽” 이라고 상상하면 관사 the 를 기억하기 쉬울 것입니다. bang one’s head against “a” wall 이라고 써도 상관이 없습니다만(예문 참조), 밑에 PHRASE HISTORY 섹션을 보시면, the wall이 더 많이 쓰인 것을 확인할 수 있습니다.
